Napa:    is the name of a town, and it's also the name of the region, the Napa Valley.  This world-famous wine region also includes many sub-regions (AVAs) to explore. People come from all over the world to sip the savory Cabernet Sauvignon, rich and buttery Chardonnay, and fruit-forward Merlot.

City of Yountville:   is an incorporated town in Napa County, in California's Wine Country.  It is in the North Bay portion of the San Francisco Bay Area. The population was 2,933 at the 2010 census.  The town's name is derived from the name of early pioneer George Calvert Yount. Yount was considered responsible for establishing the first vineyard in the Napa Valley.  Yountville is a noted destination for gourmet diners, and has two Michelin-starred restaurants.

Areas of Oakville and Rutherford:   are census-designated places in the Napa Valley.  Oakville was formally declared a distinct appellation within the Napa Valley AVA in 1993.  Rutherford is located in the Rutherford AVA which is located in the larger Napa Valley AVA.

To the southeast, Bale Grist Mill State Historic Park has an 1846 mill.

City of American Canyon:    is a city located in southern Napa County, California, 35 miles northeast of San Francisco in the San Francisco Bay Area. The 2010 census reported the population at 19,454.
